Baked Dish

  • 3 cups JR's / Shivoham's Potato chips, baked or fried
  • 3 onions
  • 2 tsp coriander-cumin seeds (dhania-jeera) powder
  • 2 tsp chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 recipe Hot Sauce
  • 8 tbsp grated cooking cheese
  • salt to taste

  • Cut the onions into cubes.
  • Heat the oil in a vessel and fry the onions for at least 3 minutes.
  • Add the dhana-jeera powder, chilli powder and salt.
  • Cover and cook until the onions are tender.
  • Spread the onions at the bottom of a greased baking dish.Spread Yati's Potato chips over the onions.
  • Pour the hot sauce (mentioned in above recipe) , sprinkle the cheese and bake in hot oven at 450oF for 20 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

Chips With Hot Sauce

  • 1 kg red tomatoes
  • 6 whole dry kashmiri red chillies
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
  • 3 tsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste

  • Soak the chillies in 1/2 teacup of water for 15 minutes.
  • Heat the oil in a vessel and fry the onions for a little time. Add the tomatoes and the chillies (with the water) and cook till the tomatoes are soft.
  • Blend the mixture in a liquidiser and strain the sauce.
  • Add the ajwain, sugar and salt and boil for at least 10 minutes.

Potato Chips Nachos

  • 2 1/4 to 3 cups Yati’s potato chips
  • 3/4 cup grated cooking cheese
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • sliced Pickled Jalapenos

  • Mix the cheese, milk and 1 tablespoon of water and cook on a slow flame until the cheese melts.
  • Arrange the potato chips on a plate and spread the melted cheese on top.
  • Spread a few pickle jalapenos on top. Grill for a few minutes until the cheese bubbles.
  • Serve hot.

Potato Chip Cookies

  • 5 cups crushed baked Yati’s Potato chips
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup each, brown sugar and white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

  • Mix crushed potato chips with the two sugars.
  • Beat the two eggs and add to sugar and chips.
  • Stir in milk and vanilla.
  • Mix the flour and baking powder together and then slowly add to other mixture. Mix well. Grease baking sheet and drop by rounded teaspoonful.
  • Bake at 375o for 10-12 minutes, or until golden.
  • Do you have a favorite brownie recipe? Next time you make the brownies, try adding 3/4 cup crushed baked Yati’s potato chips to the mix. If the brownie recipe calls for salt, do not add salt, when adding the potato chips.
  • Potato chips are not just for munching with your sandwich.

Yati’s Twice Baked Cheese Potatoes

  • 3 large potatoes
  • 1 container sour cream
  • 4 cups crushed Yati’s potato chips, baked or fired
  • Half cup chopped chives
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese

  • Bake the potatoes in oven until they are done.
  • Let them cool and then cut them in half lengthwise.
  • In a large mixing bowl empty the flesh of the potato out of the jackets and then put the jackets aside to be refilled later.
  • In the bowl with the potato filling add 1 container of sour cream. Add chives and cheddar cheese to the mix.
  • Refill the potato jackets. Fill them up high because you will have a lot of mixture.
  • Place them in a sprayed baking pan or baking dish.
  • Arrange potatoes so they don't fall over on their sides.
  • Crush up some Yati’s Potato Chips. Baked or fried, both will do.
  • Take a handful of crushed potato chips and place them on top of the potatoes. You might need to do this firmly and work them into the potato mixture. Use as much potato chips on top of your potato as it can hold.
  • Now done,put them into your preheated oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
  • When you take them out your potato chips on top will form a crispy crust and the inside of your twice baked potato will be soft with cream and melted cheese inside.

Zaykedar Chips Sabzee

  • Oil
  • Chopped onion
  • Chopped tomato
  • Zeera
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilly powder
  • Baked or fried Yati’s potato chips
  • Water

  • Pour one tbsp oil in a pan and heat. Add zeera and chopped onion.
  • Fry till onions turn red.
  • Add chopped tomato. Add salt and red chilly powder to taste. Keep stiring.
  • Add water and bring to boil.
  • Add Yati’s potato chips.
  • Dish is ready to serve

Potato Casserole

  • 1 kg frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream of potato soup OR cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream with chives
  • 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped

  • 2 cups crushed Yati potato chips
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Potato Casserole Method
  • Defrost potatoes.
  • Combine melted butter, salt, pepper, soup and sour cream.
  • Mix hash browns with onion, celery and cheese. Mix in soup mixture.
  • Pour into a greased 9 x 12-inch casserole dish.

Topping Method
  • Mix butter and chips.
  • Sprinkle on top of casserole.
  • Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • This dish can be frozen and heated before serving.
